FWIW, people's failure to spend money is a big reason why there are no new books for VFP. I just got royalty statements from Whil covering about 7 months, and my total income from all my books (those I wrote and those I tech-edited) in that period is under $1000. Hard to justify the time to write a book for those dollars.

Hi, Tamar....when you say 'total income'....do you mean just royalties, or are you also including any up-front money? I'm stunned if you picked up less than 1K as the grand total for all of your books, especially since there were some good ones (the Office automation book, Hacker's guide, etc.)
