>Hi, Tamar....when you say 'total income'....do you mean just royalties, or are you also including any up-front money? I'm stunned if you picked up less than 1K as the grand total for all of your books, especially since there were some good ones (the Office automation book, Hacker's guide, etc.)

Up-front money?!?!? Ha ha!! We don't get any up front money to write FoxPro books. We do it for the love of FoxPro, not for the money. If you take the number of hours we spend writing a book, total up our royalties over the years and do the math .. we end up making pennies on the dollar compared to our normal consulting rate. Seriously ... we make very little money on those books and we give up lots of billable hours to do it.

What Tamar was saying is that in a 7-month period, her royalties for *ALL* her books was less than $1000 for the entire 7 months. And considering how many books she has authored, you can see it breaks down to VERY little per book per month.
