I'll try the GIF technique and if that doesn't take too long (there are probably 100 of them if you count picture and disabled picture) that may be worth a try. Otherwise, I may have to live with a bit of an aura around the images.

In the article links I posted, there are examples of how to convert image files to use in VFP using VFP CODE, you don´t need any image editing software.

Also gif is a poor choice since you can only have 256 colors, of the 16,777,216 colors available in any modern day standard graphics card/monitor.

Those 2 articles where written to solve your exact problem, using only VFP code and the GDIPLUSX classes.
