>I think the point Kevin is trying to make is that if this crazy person was intent on killing 4 people, he would have not cared about gun laws. He would have got a gun, which would be easily available whether they are legal or illegal, and he would have killed those 3 people, plus maybe some more because nobody would have been able to effectively stop him.


This is EXACTLY my point. Without the security gaurd, more people would have died. Therefore the
presence of a gun for self defense was justified.
