Wow, this thread is longer than the original! I think I will take your advice and give it a miss. For what it's worth, though, I don't think it was necessary to call for the thread I started to remain firmly on topic. I am one of the biggest thread drifters here. And fine with that, since I think it is inherent in the nature of online discussion groups. Or in real life, for that matter. How often do verbal discussions remain firmly on one topic, even in a business meeting with an agenda?

Your ongoing defense of Naomi, which I share, is another thing entirely, of course. I already said she is on my permanent good "guys" list for calling 911. According to what I was told in the ER, the quick response by her, Howard, and apparently Sylvain saved my life.

>Take for example this advice: You need to seek help Naomi. You aren't going to get the help you need here. You need to find a qualified professional - there ARE things that can be done. You don't have to live like this. It's not going to just go away if you wait it out. Seek help. Apart from that it's inappropriate to go off-topic in esp. that thread, it is totally inappropriate to write this type of 'advice' in the PUBLIC forum of the UT.
