We call it "Kaiserschnitt", identical roots: probably a function of the probability of it happening more often whenever father/expected child were deemed "more worthy" than the mother, so the risk to the baby was minimized on smaller indications. But to think any MacDuff might be barred from becoming pres is a strange law.
