I agree with you that the rules say one thing, but that they are not enforced, strictly speaking. But the example you mentioned to Michel wasn't a valid example of such a case. I guess that's why Michel still hasn't reacted. He can't or doesn't want to help you here because the 'case' is not clear enough for a ban.

You must have realized that too and then have decided to call it 'partly a joke'. I think that's actually rationalization. In case it indeed was partly a joke right from the start, then this undermines your suggestion that it was a political statement.

By the way, for the rest of my life (and perhaps beyond) people can now talk about me as 'that person who was almost banned from the UT'. How sick can a joke be? :(
