But, John, this is circular reasoning. Who designated these guys as terrorists? When do they get to refute the charge and face the evidence that they are terrorists? We've been holding some of these guys for 6 years without giving them that chance.
Of course, our having done so has probably turned some who weren't against us into our enemies. False imprisonment tends to have that effect.
