>You don't think China, with their antics before and during the Olympics weren't treating the whole thing politically? The Olympics has always been a political football. Countries have boycotted various olympics at different times. There are few countries that are as blatant in their human rights violations as China. Should we next award the Olympics to North Korea, or maybe to Zimbabwe? Somewhere a line has to be drawn over which we should not step. Should we be content to award the olympics to a country that steals it's citizens homes to build an arena?
