Maybe I do. I say all of this thinking of you as one of the good guys. All I will suggest is that you reread some of your posts and consider whether the average reader might mistake you for a Republican partisan. How you can think Sarah Palin is a great choice, for instance. She's pleasant, she's admirable, it was surprising. But really, WTF? Not a very good signal of McCain's leadership potential IMO.
Then again, Joe Biden wasn't a reassuring choice, either. Fair enough. VP nominees have about 3 months of shelf life, unless they turn out to be the anomalies like LBJ or Dick Cheney who turn out to be important. It's Obama and McCain we should focus on.

>My Republican upbringing??? My parents are (were) life-long Blue Dog Democrats. I am a libertarian. I'm anti-victimless crimes, for decriminalizing recreational drug use, and vehemently against any federal abortion legislation for or against. I'm also anti constitutional marriage amendment and strongly in favor of civil unions with 100% of the same rights to healthcare and inheritance as regular marriages.

>Boy, do you misread me.

>>BTW, don't be in denial. You say you are libertarian but I'm not sure your Republican upbringing is undyed. You are no less apoplectic about Obama being elected than John H.
