>>Granted, the "liberal media" has not reported anything negative about Obama. However, I suspect that FOX has spent considerable resources investigating Obama. They either have found nothing to report, or they are waiting for the "perfect time".

>Standby for news. . . . You can bet there will be more reporting on Obama. Even CNN is starting to say Obama lied about his relationship with Ayers.

>As to a point you so casually threw out earlier, McCain was cleared in the Keating 5 scandal, by none other, than Robert Bennett. He was a clinton attack dog, as I recall, and he says he investigated McCain for 1.5 years and he tried to get the Ds to drop him from the investigation, because he had done nothing wrong. I believe he also said something along the lines of , "I don't agree with him on many issues, but I do believe John McCain is an honest man."

But the issue with Obama and Ayres is "guilt by association".

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keating_Five

"McCain and Keating had become personal friends following their initial contacts in 1981,[11] and McCain was the only one of the five with close social and personal ties to Keating.[37][38] Like DeConcini, McCain considered Keating a constituent as he lived in Arizona.[30] Between 1982 and 1987, McCain had received $112,000 in political contributions from Keating and his associates.[39] In addition, McCain's wife Cindy McCain and her father Jim Hensley had invested $359,100 in a Keating shopping center in April 1986, a year before McCain met with the regulators. McCain, his family, and their baby-sitter had made nine trips at Keating's expense, sometimes aboard Keating's jet. Three of the trips were made during vacations to Keating's opulent Bahamas retreat at Cat Cay. McCain did not pay Keating (in the amount of $13,433) for some of the trips until years after they were taken, when he learned that Keating was in trouble over Lincoln.[7][40] "

THAT is an association.
