No matter how you defend this I'm sure you know it doesn't make sense. It's not because someone talks about something that that person experienced it. Or that I can't make comments about something because I never did something related to it.
Then I am curious. How do you form your opinions if they are not based upon some sort of personal experience. Personal experience includes getting information from books, magazines, TV and radio as well as interacting with other people. If you do not form your opinions based upon your experience, how do you form them? Black Magic?
I just got in this discussion to tell you that the Canadian health system is not that bad and this degenerate rather fast to you saying that I am stupid.
Just to make this pint one last time: I do not think that you are stupid and I do not believe I ever called you stupid. If that is what you inferred from this discussion, I am sorry because that was not my intention.
English is not my first language but please tell me where you meant that it's my ideas that are stupid and that that was not directed at me? Is the word ideas implied somewhere?
I think that you misunderstand. when I said this:
You are entitled to your opinion and if you think that I am aggressive and ignorant, that is your prerogative. However, there is a big difference between being aggresive and assertive. At least ignorance can be fixed - stupidity can't.
I inferred that you were calling me ignorant and my reply was meant to imply that I would rather be ignorant than stupid. I will confess that I thought some of your remarks were stupid, just as you thought some of mine were. However, as I have said elsewhere, I have been known to say some stupid things even though I am definitely not stupid. There is a big difference. Are you trying to tell me that you have never said anything stupid?
