I said FP because it was created by a private company before MS bought it, so there is no reason why we shouldn't expect another small company to come up with another displacing technology. Especially since the major vendors seem determined to retrace their steps since 1990 wrt data on this new platform.

I'd be thrilled to see any of these smartphones reliably handle phone calls where all the calls started with "hello" and ended with "goodbye" and didn't require multiple "hello? are you still there?"'s in the middle. I remember a time when telephones actually handled calls reliably.

But at least Apple has it down pat - they are holding off on the 'white' iphone for a few more months to drive apple idiots crazy with anticipation. Another color!!!! Just think how many phones will go into the landfills in exchange for white colored iphones.
