Known for a high level of integrity among Kansas basketball fanatics, evidently. Did you actually read what he said? (Maybe you didn't, since you once again pruned the quoteback to fit your argument). He sounded like a lawyer in his opening argument -- all so innocent, all so long ago, "but we have rules" -- total phony.
You just want the new stud on the team and are happy to look the other way. Which is what I meant about the hypocrisy of the NCAA Mike, WTF is your problem now???? Exactly WHAT did Self say that made him sound like a "lawyer"??? What makes him sound like a "phony"?
Mike, I follow NCAA sports far more heavily than you do, and I know that Bill Self is one of the most respected head coaches and mentors in the country.
And by the way, if you want to talk about men who KNOWINGLY broke rules, you haven't said a word about Bruce Pearl (head coach at Tennessee), who KNOWINGLY made inappropriate recruitment contacts and then admitted that he lied to the NCAA during an investigation. Pearl got roughly the same suspension.
Of course I wanted Selby on the team. Who wouldn't????? How am I looking the other way???? Selby was fined and has to sit out 9 games. (And by the way, you never acknowledged you were wrong about him "taking money", it was a more complicated situation than that).
You're rambling and ranting, which begs the question on whether you're under the influence of anything again...
