Seems to me that people are more interested in slapping out at the other side than solving real issues, in which case it won't matter who the President is when the explosion occurs.

Who has time/need for real jobs with all that nuclear threats, terrorist threats, lack of democracy/HR in faraway lands and all that hatred for our freedoms ? Who needs all that dirty industry and agriculture! That is job for illegal immigrants and other losers!
Instead we ALL enlist in some army or intelligence agency of our choice, and take our homeland defense/security right to our (numerous) enemies doors! An all-out defense against everybody!

Everybody (all that youth) gets military grade salaries/benefits, start building or refurbishing houses, buy new cars, TVs etc. While we are productively emp-deployed abroad, couple of huge corporations/investment banks are left at home to take care of our assets/funds.
It will be hard to print all that moneys, but that is all we need! {g}
Fast forward to year 2050 ;
All problems will be solved, economy is booming again and world is much happier place as result of last 10-15 of our decisively defensive/preemptive wars.

I know it sounds little bit NEO-CON but why not? What else is there, Kaynesian capitalism ? :))
