In the broad sense, Scrum won the Agile battle. It's more widely adopted than any other Agile process. By a big margin.
We're doing Kanban, which lends itself well to a chaotic environment. Scrum won't work here because priorities change constantly. Scrum works well when you can have a dedicated team.
One important thing.. Agile will not help you write better code. Agile is a project management methodology.
