>>>I am attempting to install SQL Server 2008 (not R2) Development Edition (that I purchased from MS a couple of years ago) on a new Windows 7 Professional. As soon as the SETUP starts I get the message that "This program has known compatibility issues" When I select to Check for solution online, none is found. What do you think is the matter with SQL Server 2008 Dev (which I run on another Windows 7 Prof)?

For development I usually install only DB Services and Full-Text search, because I do not need all services.
Will you replicate Server?
