We all have our own biases, I guess.
Lying to facilitate the slaughtering of several hundred thousand innocent people and the crippling of the US economy for decades seems fairly important to me.

I note that the repubs in congress sought to impeach Slick Willy for denying that he stained a lady's dress, but none seemed too perturbed over W's brand of mendacity.

"You can keep your own plan " seems to outweigh all of them in your mind.


However, your facts are way off on who said what when.
His "you can keep your own plan" goes back to the debates in the primaries when he was going toe to toe with Hillary.
Both of them touted that as a feature of their plans.
I have no idea whether or not they knew whether they could deliver on it.

I'll leave that to the people who seem to be able to divine what other people were thinking years ago.
