I usually stay out of these, but:
I met Mike in 2012. He is a fine fellow, personable and hard-working.
Mike, do what you need to do- and when you feel yourself wavering, imagine Marcia's steely finger pointing at you as she chants "excuses, excuses, always excuses." She is of course correct- there are a million reasons to put it off until tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
