I misunderstood your question. I thought you meant a company monitoring social media to see what customers are saying. You want the other way around.
I'm not a marketing expert, but I think you should change tactics. Get the customer to contact you, not you them. So, you can use social media to improve brand awareness, talk about features, how it can improve their business, etc. Same ideas as normal advertising, but in smaller chunks.
