Corporations in NJ, CT, NY and PA play that game regularly and politicians in both parties go along with it.

I think it's absurd. If a company in NJ threatens to move to PA or vice versa, let it go. People can easily follow that work if they choose and the standard of living is roughly equal.

Not so with Mexico.

That opens a lot of avenues for dealing or arm twisting and Trump is expert at both.
