For me desugared/zero soft drinks still remind the body of the sugared versions. If your tap water is not tasting bad, drink that and add some variability yourself: add CO2 yourself, trying to often CHANGE the amount, have bottles of 1 litre maximum size in the fridge of 2 or 3 fruit juices (stay away from the gallon jugs) and add at most 10% to the water. White wine, Apple cidre (not all are sweet) can also be used and it just adds a liiiittle spice to the water.
Getting away from the pre-processed, time saving things to eat and drink makes it easier for me, even if I am not the shape of my 20s any more
