Those statistics might be informative to some, but most of us do what the MD tells us to do.
With a few notable exceptions, that has worked OK for most of us.
Eloquence helps though.
In Korea, our base was facing almost 60% infection with VD and those extended sick calls were affecting productivity.
The base commander called a meeting of the troops. It was outside and he used a megaphone.
I can still hear his eloquent message:
"The biggest disease carrier here is the fly - keep the damned thing closed."
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
