- Have you tried plugging the laptop charger into a different wall socket? Perhaps a breaker tripped and there's no power coming out of the socket.
- The power brick (i.e. the laptop charger) may have failed -- i.e. either within the "brick" itself, or the power cable (the latter could happen depending on how you've been handling it when packing/unpacking it -- you could ruin the cabling by introducing sharp bends on the cable or applying too much tension).
- charging circuit within the laptop may have gone bad
