They can coincide on the same PC, with this caveat. If you open a VFP5 project, form, report, menu, etc ... in VFP6, it will (depending on the item) try to convert it to version 6. This may or may not cause you a problem. My recommendation is to keep them both separate, back up the VFP 5 project, and then open it in VFP 6. That way you can always put it back the way it was.
