Are you able to narrow this down to any one file or group of files included in the project that causes this? Do all projecs cause the error?

Since it seems as if you have tried all of the textbook fixes (your post made me feel really lucky), I would be looking for file-centric problems.

Create a dummy project and add your files to it few by few, compiling each time, and see which files cause the beast to rear it's ugly head.
