Are you using the view designer to create your view?

>when my view only has rows from a single table, everything works fine. if i change the create sql view command and do a join to my second table without even selecting a single column from the second table then it no longer works like i expect. i can still change any column in the view that was derived from the first table. the column used in the join condition is the only one that won't update anymore.
