U r only counting here premier membership whereas the companies which are giving product ads which are on the home page are also paying… I don’t have to tell that but u can yourself understand, if there will be no Basic membership, there will be no crowd, & when there will be no crowd, then there will be no Ads !! If we force everybody to bcome premier member, 90% of the crowd will run away…

And there are plenty of people who are at least as active on the UT as yourself that feel that there's a need to contribute towards keeping UT up and running.


If there is nothing here i.e. No answers, no kbs, faqs, files etc., Who will come here ?? IMHO its a big contribution !!

if things are according to what you are saying then these new rules shud be made

1. Suggestions can be only given by premier members
2. Files,kbs, faqs can be contributed my any but download/acess is restricted to premier members.
