>VFP 6 SP3 -- I have experimented installing a VFP app on a clean Win95 machine that did not have IE at all installed on it. In the Setup wizard, I did check the HTML Help Engine option and did not include any of the required files needed by VFP runtime to implement HTML Help. However, the wizard did include all the appropriate files [checked the INF file created by the wizard].

Hey Mark,

Thanks for the info, but I have not had the same experience? I am using Install Shield for my install, but I went through the VFP setup wizard to verify the files needed. I have not been able to get HTML Help to work without IE installed? On several machines, I have also need to do some manual registering of controls using these two commands:

REGSVR32 HHCTRL.OCX

and

FOLHHELP.EXE REGSERVER

I have searched through past messages here and through the MS knowledge base, but have yet to come up with the definitive steps required to get HTML help to work.

Kind Regards,

Mat
