Yes Jeff - I do believe you mentioned West Wind!

I have posted a similar request for advise to West Wind's thread. Hopefully I will get some specific input as to the approach, using West Winds tools. As in, do I require IIS on each application site. Do I create a server as COM or DCOM objects which communicate with IIS via Web Connection. How are the transactions exchaged between the Web Server and the local databases - as HTML, XML, or is there a more direct way to make the data connections.

This is new territory for me - looking for a bit of a road map.
