Found all the referenced files and looked thru them. Couldn't find anything specifically to WSH and IE. But I can take simple code that I know runs in VFP, massage it to be JScript and put it into the web page script and it won't run. Wonder if it's trying to tell me something? Think I'll poke around at MS on this question before I beat my head on the wall any more.

Speaking of beating one's head on the wall, reading Ed's posts for me is a real bittersweet, love/hate sort of thing. Great to get all the information he provides, but your basic idiot trying to absorb all that info ... well, sometimes it's just "what's the use?" :-)
