Hi John,

>Have you read the comments here?

I've read the entire thread several times. In fact, I'm taking all comments here serious, because I really try to make FP Advisor as good as possible within my possibilities.

>Have you shared them with Tamar?

As have you. *g* But Tamar is only partly the right person to deal with this. While she is the editor of the magazine, it doesn't mean she can do anything she wants. She has to forward suggestion to the power that be just like I have to. Sending everything to Tamar simply means that she has less time to edit articles. *s*

>I suspect there is some "fat" that can be excised from FPA.

Hmm, I'm not sure I follow. What kind of "fat" are you talking about? Do you have some examples?

>Pure beginner - 10%
>Intermediate - 50%
>Intermediate/Advanced - 30%
>Advanced/Black Belt Programming - 10%

That still doesn't cover the issue how we evaluated articles. Maybe what we think is for intermediates, you consider to be pure beginner stuff. I know it doesn't make sense to ask here what beginners or intermediate folks think, because everybody considers herself at least to be an advanced developer, just like on conferences. *g*

>If you look at the situation, there is ONE major FoxPro publication.

Which one? I thought FPA and FoxTalk are both major FoxPro publications, and Markus first issue of SDM reached (I think) more than 20,000 VS users, that's more than FP Advisor has subscribers.

>I hope this feedback given here is put to good use....

I summerized the feedback and passed it on to the Advisor staff. Thanks.
