>>I'm wanting to move to a proper modelling tool (as opposed to the SmartDraw diagrams and quill pens that I use at the moment for UML). I've played with Rational Rose Demos and integrated the VFP gubbins, which works well enough, but (bearing the price of Rose in mind) other than MSVM, is anyone using any other modelling tools that are cheaper.

>>I'm not
too worried about generating code so it doesn't necessarily have to be compatible with VFP.

>Markus makes a good arguement in his book that the round-trip code capabilities in VM/Rose are something you should seriously consider. The new VM/Rose modeling wizards really have helped with this. I've played with VM a little and would really like to use Rose, but can't afford. I'll be using VM in the future.
A very good argument I might add... Markus' book finally got me to give up Visio on my latest endeavor.
