We have installed the SP3 and that didn't fix the problem (it may be a little better, but we still have the problem).

Are you saying that we should re-install the HP drivers from the 95/98 CDs? Or is there a place we should download them on the I-net?

PS. I am a little concerned getting help from a fellow Firesign Theatre devotee', but I guess if you're using Nick Danger's power of deductive reasoning to solve my problem we should be OK.
