>Ah, but it doesn't really, does it? Isn't that the point? The System has certainly tried, but it nonetheless continues to fail miserably, huh? Did you hear about the guy who swamped his canoe in a park, and got hauled into jail for yelling the expected phrase? That community became a laughing stock. Another recently made an erection illegal, if it was visible through the clothes. Nucking futz, or what? No, The System has failed, miserably, and is desperatetly seeking redefinition of itself.

These couldn't have been blamed on obscenness thuogh. Not after what we just went through, but, how familiar are you with Cohen Vs. California, or: something "the Draft"? If thats anytype of precedent (and it unforunatly is) it doesn't surprise me that these people would be guilty :-(

>Hey, now we're getting somewhere! <g> So, obscenity only counts if someone other than the participant(s) observes it? What if it was a peeping tom? <g>

I actually think (now anyways) it is only obscenity if its something that is meant to be distributed. And anything else that might fall as obscene like exhibition is illegal anyway, not for obscenity.
