Hi Bill,

Me Again <g>. I have a few queries about Foxfire.

1. I created a preference set and imported all the desired tables using the Wizard, but I didn't create any table relationships at that time. At a later stage I went into the Relationship Editor from the Systems Administrator and kept getting a "LONODE is not an object" error when trying to save my first relationship. I managed to get around the error by opening the ????JOIN table and creating my first relationship manually. It worked fine after that. I can Email you a load of screen dumps for this problem if need be.

2. I was working in a preference set whose data directory is K:\DEMOSYS\DATA. I then created a new preference set for K:\LIVESYS\DATA. When I ran a report in the LIVESYS preference set it kept giving me data from the DEMOSYS tables. I couldn't figure out why this was happening, my directories were set up fine in the preference set. I then discovered that the 'SEARCH PATH FOR USER FILES' was being carried over from a previous preference that I'd been in. My preference set for LIVESYS has K:\DEMOSYS\DATA;K:\LIVESYS\DATA in the search path. I removed the K:\DEMOSYS\DATA part and it now works ok.

3. When running a report to a spreadsheet and a large amount of data is extracted Foxfire appears to hang, but hasn't hung, it's just taking a long time. Is it possible to have a Progress Bar so that the user knows what is happening?

Thanks,
Gavin...

P.S. I hope that you don't have a Voodoo Doll of me in your office, otherwise it would be covered in pins by now <g>.
