Hi Cindy

I just reread the whole thread and saw something I haven't noticed before.
Are you adding columns to a grid, that's virgin when you start, or are there already a number of columns "predefined" by the two different tables that you use? Maybe not the same amount of columns?

As I remember it out of my boney head, the new column that's added will go to
the leftmost position and the index of the existing columns is raised. Perhaps
that's were it chokes.

I'm also just "gridding around". Will try it too.
