Hi John,
I've searched the web and found several like VinAssist. The volume of data that needs to be checked and automated is too much to use VinAssist. We are looking for an electronic file that we can import or check against on site to fill in certain fields based on the VIN, and check to see if it is a valid VIN.
Thanks for the info though. Are you going to DevCon and brave the elements? I don't like Miami especially in hurricane season, so I won't be there. Looks like you will have to find someone else to organize the dinner party. How about WhilFest?

>We use a program called VinAssist. It comes from an insurance consortium called NICB. You plug in the number and it tells you what's what or if it's bogus. I think it is law enforcement or insurance company only though.
