He is going to say, "I won, but the law requires a recount. I believe the recount will show that I am the winner." I would expect Gore to do the same.<
I agree, the good thing is it is not up to the politicians. According to CNN, the vote can be challenged if
a) There were irregularities, confusion or whatever
b) This problems caused the actual outcome to be different then what was intended.
I see a lot of others complaining about the election trying to be stolen or hijacked by the Gore camp. My only comment is that in dispute are 23,000+ votes in 1 county where the overall state voting differences were about 1,000 votes. I just want to see the guy who deserves it to win -- whether it be Gore or Bush. It will make governing so much easier.
