I'm not trying to heat this up. I'm only a foreigner expressing his view on the situation in the US..... Nothing more, nothing less..

That are your words and not mine. Neither you or me can give an object view on this one. I expressed my view, you did yours. I guess the majority has to decide who's right. However from the news we get over here, I think I can safely say that most europeans find the death penalty discusting, epsecially if there is any doubt about the fairness of the juridical system.

Another biased argument, I don't see facts here. For every fact you could bring up here, a democrat could get a counter one. Don't get me wrong, I don't even know the big differences between democrats and republican, and I sure can't tell to what party Reagan, Bob Dole, Carter, Nixon etc. belonged to. Sure is that i've seen quite a few scandals of Us presidents and I don't believe they all were democrats. I'm merely arguing about the persons themselves.
