Actually, it kinda *does* answer my question! If you got it to work in VB (but not the way I want it to <s>), and you can't get it to work in VFP, then perhaps my best bet it to continue to use the ShellExecute method. It works great, and I think that for my app, it's a *feature* that it opens up in a separate window (though my opinion isn't shared by the project team ).
