Version 3.0 was a pig to work with, being a standalone EXE which we had to shell with all kinds of problems with space in directory paths (command line interface). 4.0 now has a COM object which is a little more developer-friendly, but getting every customer to buy the Adobe product was a real hassle, and quite frankly, just didn't happen. We are going to move to the Amyuni PDF generator and include the PDF output functionality in our finished product. I recenlty place the Amyuni PDF Convertor in an app and it works fine. Like you, we had to concatenate files and that Amyuni convertor accomplishes that task easily. We did however have a problem with commercial print shops making printing the files. Several printers using in the area had problems with printing the jobs. We did find a printer who could do it. He is using Cannon equipment. The others were not.
