60 Minutes did a piece a couple of years ago about check fraud. They had checks made up with totally bogus names and addresses (eg. "Mickey Mouse, Main Street, Disneyland, CA") and had no problems cashing them at most banks. However, the best (and related to this thread) was a check with "Do Not Cash This Check" for the name, made payable to "Do Not Cash This Check", and it was signed with that name. Guess what? <g>
