George;

When I was 16 my grandfather offered to buy me a car. All the guys in my neighborhood had cars at 16. I told him thank you but no - the insurance was too expensive. I bought my own car when I was 22 and liked it that way.

Our daughter turned 18 and asked me to teach her how to drive. I did and she bought a car. Our son was 20 and got inspired by his sister so I taught him how to drive. Then our son bought a car. Now I ask you , why is it impossible for a husband to teach his wife how to drive? I sent my wife to driving school and she was very happy.

A friend of mine was teaching his wife to drive in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. He was concerned as his wife was headed for a tree and said stop. No response. Stop! Still no response. STOP!!! Crash - car totaled into tree! Wifes response: "Well, you did not have to shout"!
