Yea, what I got is between 15 to 30 units that need to be able to program the on and off times by the calendar for specific rooms. We (my HVAC buddy) can't find any off the shelf things to do this. There are people out there that do this but they are quite expensive...

THanks

>>Has anyone recorded data from a Data Acquistion card and stored the data into VFP? I am looking at controlling air conditioners in a building. I need to read in data from a thermistor and control a digital output. Any ideas will be welcome.

>What are you trying to do that a standard, off-the-shelf HVAC controller can't? There's a surprisingly large number of issues in trying to do something like that and you're likely to spend more money trying to roll your own.

>Having said that, data acquisition cards usually come with API and/or admin software (maybe even ActiveX these days) that can be used to query the inputs on demand and/or write output files to disk.
