I was at the recent SQL Connections conference a few weeks ago, and a speaker by the name of Bill Vaughn (he used to work at MS on the VB team) asked the attendees what development tools they used. He mentioned VFP - there were a handful of us - to my surprise (since there was strictly a SQL Conference) - who raised our hands.

He went on to comment something to the effect that VFP is used extensively in Europe and South America...

Curious, since you mentioned it - what is different with Germany as opposed to the rest of Europe with regards to VFP?
