Just wondering how many current users would then feel that the product has finally been killed by Microsoft. Obviously, those of us here would know that this 'new' product is just the next version of our beloved Fox, but you just KNOW that there would be a vocal group of people saying "See, I told you do, MS killed Foxpro!" Either that, or all the publicity would have to mention somewhere that this new product was "formerly Microsoft Visual Foxpro" which would seem to defeat the whole purpose of renaming it.

More attention can only draw new users and increase market share because it REALLY is such a great development tool that is not seriously considered in many large corps with dev shops anylonger. Those of us who have used it for so long would stay with it regardless of the name because IT DOES THE JOB.
