Why did you consider learning other langues a very high investment? Is it that VFP can do everhtying? VFP will still be around and supported? Or simply that you were only familiar with VFP?

As a developer, would'nt you be ther person recommending the language that a company should consider? given this, why would you even consider what the "Company" - (who may not have enough information on IT) has to say or suggest?
