I guess USB Epson 1660 is partly supported. When I go into Paint and select color it scans OK. But if I use black and white the scanner light blinks and paint reports an error.

I have been playing with eztwain.dll and it appears to be a solution for all the 32bit windows platforms. But as you would expect it is not easy. So far I have been just creating the header file - where I have "declare" statements. I'm really not sure it's going to work because I have only got the program to access the scanner. I have not saved a file or processed the file in anyway.

So, my thinking is this will be a better overall solution than writing something that calls kodak drivers if win98,win2K and WIA drivers if win ME or XP.

If I'm going the wrong way please let me know. What are you thoughts?
