Source Safe Control
Hi Hilmar,
The defect tracking (at least as far as I can tell from their web site) allows you to record bugs--assign a tracking #, repair time, etc.
I'm hoping to hear from someone using the Rational ClearCase product. I don't know the cost, but they certainly seem to have earned the 'gold standard' reputation.
I gather it didn't take long to install and try Perforce?

>About the same. The integration with VSS is a little simpler, but I think each of the two has its own advantages. I suggest, give it a try.

>I use Perforce mainly because it is free for 1-2 developers, and I found that of the VSS features, it has all I need. But if you currently, or in the future, have a larger team (more than 2 developers), well, the price per seat is comparable to VSS.
